COPEC MARINE FUELS has always been leader of the Chilean fuel market as it has given its customers the best service and quality of its products. COPEC has made a large investment by increasing its fleet by 2 new bunker barges: Don Gonzalo and Don Pancho- these were built in Europe in 2005, with double hull and double bottom according to our health and safety policies. These are the only ones with these characteristics in the region, thereby increasing domestic service and quality standards to international levels. In other words, we have 3 bunker barges: Doña Blanca (3,000 MT), Don Gonzalo (4,500 MT) and Don Pancho (4,500 MT) which cover the entire Chilean coast: that is, the North, Central and Southern Zones. We are currently certified as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18001:2007.

With this renovation fleet we per sued too supply all our coast and main ports from North To South with high standards and put our country as leaders against others ports like Callao & Guayaquil , due to the fact that we are the oblige  traffics for vessels / lines that makes routes like:

North Atlantic located the largest number of routes, that also get loads from the Pacific and Indian oceans.

• Pacific /Europe.
• Vessels Post-Panama

With this renovation and compromise we have been able to demonstrate concepts like: JIT (JUSTIME TIME) AND KAYZEN (CONTINUESLY IMPROVEMENT)
COPEC is always looking for innovation; Last September (2010) we started offering  our customers a new service: Check your Delivery! Which will allow customers to watch the operation delivery through a camera installed in our barges? This will be accessible by linking to our web page. Finally, in order to update  and increase business and loading facilities in the Northern region, specifically Mejillones, we finished our fuel plant, which will benefit our supply to the bunker industry. This fuel plant started this year, and we are offering our service in this zone by barge, Pipe Line and trucks. (Please check info “port of delivery” in market coverage)
